@Olaipai and asus version is already at 1400mhz instead of 1200
-
@Olaipai the asus directCu is way better... XFX runs very hot and unstable and lots of problem with the fans compared to asus

Thx for answering my question !
I like the DirectCU II from Asus because of the nice backplate.
But if the XFX HD 7970 has more performance and is better to overclock, it´s my first choice. ;)

@mikezachlowe2004 and add a few actual

@SuperDarkroman I have done ALOT of research. I have gotten to know this.
Direct CU II uses thin copper pipes. 3 layer isn't that much better. Just by 5 *C.
XFX HD 7979 BEDD is better in performance, easier to xfire and overclocks better. And uses less watt.
The XFX is the way to go. :)

I have EXACTLY the same question.
I want to make a Crossfire-Setup with XFX HD 7970 DD and Asus HD 7970 Direct CU II
But if i only buy one card, i can´t make a decision.

@xaira12 actually?

I really cant believe that he doesnt realize how much he says it. In one of his sentences he says it 6 times. Thats just a little rediculous. You would think after watching one of his own videos or reading some of the replies to them that he would catch on but it seems the more videos he makes the more he says it. This might help maybe:
HEY JJ, STOP SAYING "ACTUALLY" SO MANY TIMES... We understand that you are trying to emphasize but come on, switch up your words a little
you dont actually need to know the voice to actually know who that is actually, and actually i cant believe that that card actually going to be doing 4 DPs
