nice fight.... but looots of errors for the Spit!! He reverses much to late after each scissors merge! That's why the fight lastead so long. The Bf did it well so he stayed in the fight beaucause of the Spit's errors. Finaly, on the deck (horizontal) Spit won.
Before getting to the deck, Bf should have gone vertical or extend after scissors merge for more energy...
But it's easy to comment from the side ;-))))

Amazing fight! But I must say, even that Spit pilot won, BF's pilot is really great!!! He kept over performing Spit's pilot long time, but really, you can't out turning Spit with BF for long time.

This is a tough one. The Spitfire, probably the best allied fighter plane of WW2, abd the BF-109, probably the best axis plane of WW2, aside with the ME-109. What do you guys think?

The Spitfire had better weapons. The Mustang had six .50 caliber machine guns and as the Spitfire was continually improved so did the armaments. The mark five had four machine guns and two cannons, more fire power than the mustang

the P-51 had better range and better weapons and good manueverability
the F4 Wildcat had good range with a carrier anyway and awesome manueverability but not good weapons the german made jets were usually crappy because the 163 especially was still a prototype so every now and then.....it blew up and it had no landing gear cuz it ejected that at take off to go faster the plane was built for speed and it usually overshot in dogfights and ran out of fuel was not good

The spitfire was the greatest fighter of WWII hands down! well capable of out flying any axis or allied plane, if only it had had better range....

that 109 had a shot missed should have gone back up after forcing the spit down other than that the spit quickly turned the tables good flying
