Parkin the truck in the yard is for positioning. Correct me if I'm wrong it's also for getting your scrub area (hitting two sides of the fire building)

why do you park the tillers in the yard ive seen that in prince georges county that happens alot. just to get it out of the way? or to get ladders off without and engine right behind you?? lol

Positioning. With structures not accessible from roadways (front and/or rear, depending on 1st or 2nd due), we sometimes have to park the ladder truck in a yard.

cool video. wheres the nearest engine coming from? never seen a vollie house with just a truck and rescue. thats awesome! does the truck have a pump?

Branchville (Co. 11) and Greenbelt (Co. 35) are the closest engine companies. The squad and truck do not have pumps.
