It depends on if your strategy is to engage or evade and endure. If the zombies ravenous eaters it may be best to simply avoid and try to outlast them during that time you can scavenge the larger heaver items or make a decent club from scrap iron like rebar or a tire iron. A person should have at least one decent hand to hand weapon (spear) and preferably a ranged weapon as well.

I'm sure you could carve a cork of some sort cork for your tea pot! Just hold it steady so it doesn't spill out of the lid!
Let's be real. you won't be thinking much bushcraft in this type of situation. best have a suitable rugged backpack, because you'll be scavenging and picking-up scraps left behind, anything you can find, everyone will be doing this, Get yourself a great heavy duty machete, forget the cheapos, you'll have to rely on it if get's down to that my thought is 17'' to 24'' with a multi-tool, 1 gallon of water and a firearm of some sort, for me its the saiga 12ga and/or 1911, a crossbow maybe?

@Boomrod @Boomrod it's difficult to be real about zombies... :D
joking aside, i rarely use a big knife / machete (anyway, i'd better have a saw or a tomahawk). a crossbow would be nice, but i can make a good bow&arrow in a couple of days and a usable one in a couple of hours.
but i guess that your list is suited to your needs and skills, so, (no matter what items you choose), you probably put some serious thought into it - and that's important!

I personally would have left the poncho and blanket. Its pretty simple to create a makeshift shelter and considering I would have quite a bit of time to work on it, i could always make it nicer and more accommodating. I would make sure to have a good fixed blade knife, my fire steel, a bundle of paracord, my canteen that comes with an attached cup (which i use for cooking), and my backpack. Paracord has unlimited uses. I use it a lot for snares, shelter, fishing, and making bows.

@cstritz poncho&blanket is important for me because having the shelter secured (even on the way!) i have more time for other tasks. but that doesn't mean that your list isn't good - assuming that it's suited for your needs&skills. and, finally, that's the final point of the exercise - to think about your needs, skills and gear!
