@Rukia91554 They live pretty long lives. My Airedale Samson turned 12 in November and he's still going strong. So I would guess 14-15 years or so.

@jvn3030 Wow, you know someone who owns one and that makes you an expert Lol! I've owned Airedales most of my life as well as other breeds as well as mixes and can tell from your statement that you have no clue about this breed. Do you or have you ever owned, bred or trained dogs? For one, there is no bad breed. 2, Airedales have some of the biggest personality's ever, although you can have the odd one a little too hyper or too serious. Dont judge the breed by one dog as it could be the runt.

Our Airedale (RIP, Flash) was smart smart smart. She would pick up a new command in just a few tries. She DID bore quickly, and just wouldnt do the same trick over and over.

She was also the toughest dog I've ever had, the heavyweight champ of our neighborhood. Great dogs, ready to play at the drop of a hat.

Be warned, some do not do well with other dogs (or any 4 legged creature).
