Dogs 101 - Airedale Terrier

Airedales are stubborn and hardheaded just like most other terriers. I had one and they are very neat dogs, but don't expect them to toe the line. Call them and they will snort in laughter at your request then run the other way. I made the mistake of buying my Airedale a luxury sleeping pad for his doghouse....it got shredded the first night. I think if you want an Airedale, it would be best to get one a couple of years old, unless you want an insane dog for the first 2-4 years. Great dogs!

my parents had one when i was really little and i just got one for xmas...6 weeks and she is a handful but really smart already...independent and sweet...we'll see how she does but my parents tell me their first one was the best dog theyve ever had

i use to have two airedale, but now i have one. the other one i had since i was 6. (i'm 16 now) died sadly a few months ago D: the other one i've had since i was in 5th grade. these dogs are really the greatest pets you'll ever have. I seriously see my dogs as bestfriends. They are really smart and there for me... they're not very common around where i live at all, no one knows this dog. people have actually came up to me and asked what dog it was because they wanted one. I looove these dogs <33
