This song really made an impact on me the first time I heard it, the lyrics were just too perfect. I created this as a fan video for Pop Evil but the story is much bigger than just that.

This is a glimpse of our lives throughout three rounds of Metastatic Melanoma, now Stage IV. When you've fallen to that lowest point is when you'll find your strongest determination. No matter the statistics, never give up hope.

The progression from Stage I to Stage IV, our triumphs, and devastations, addictions and sacrifices - united with our continued strength to beat this cancer - our lives have been defined in a way we never thought possible.

He often shrugs off my mention of him being a miracle. Although, every once in a while, in his eyes, I see him accept my admiration and allow his modest esteem to believe the miracle that he truly is to all of us.

  • Very moving video you've created here, you have an artistic side that should be explored. I am perplexed about your message regarding the divinity of his crucible, does it mean that those who didn't survive this terrbile affliction were in some way unworthy of divine grace & are you believing in a self-fulfilling prophecy w/o realising the true hero of this story is the human spirit?

  • @Celticking36 Anyone that has lost a battle to cancer is a luminary to me, and all were worthy of the miracle we've seen in my husband. I've seen what they go through, I've seen the pain and agony. The true hero of this story, my story, is the human spirit. My husband's spirit, his strength and determination to come back from what we both thought was the end.

  • @Celticking36 . I pray that you have never heard those words, but if you have, it is undoubtedly something you will have a very difficult time recovering from. Physically, emotionally and spiritually. My interpretation is a bit different than most when it comes to this song. I do not see a person that has given up because they heard the angels calling in the end. I see a person that has finally found the strength to return to life when the angels called.

  • so, is he still with us?? prayers to you and your family...

  • @gdubs8367 Yes, 5 years this December. =) So far he's defied the odds every step of the way!

  • ok i don't want to get noise or upset you after what you went threw but what happened in the pick with his face and head split open at 0.36

  • @iminlovewithfayth2 No problem, it was my husband's 1st surgery, they removed the melanoma from his nose along with a safe margin of skin around it. Because of the size of the excision they needed to replace skin and cartilage. They did a new (at that time) procedure where they took part of the forehead (blood vessels attached) and attached it to his nose. 10 years later you can barely notice it, they did a wonderful job!

  • Thank you for this. My dad is battling cancer at the moments and the statistics of surviving are very low however i refuse to believe them. The body has an ablility to heal itself. You have to be strong have faither and never give up the fight. This video put a smile on my dads face.

  • Great song and beautiful family, to whoever was in the music video if it is a true video.

  • Hooah Soldier... With the blue Infantry cord and Cross Rifles behind blue discs. Why is the sky blue?? Because GOD loves the Infantry! Delta 1/19 3rd Platoon. Sand hill!

  • Perfect, i love this <3 Good job.

  • Compared to cancer patients, which my family history is riddled with, my own problems right now don't even seem big enough to call petty. I only pray that I have the strength of this man should I end up with cancer. It's killed every one in my family on both sides except one uncle.

  • It is a unique gift to face the monster of cancer and maintain a story of such hope. My father, and older brother were both diagnosed with cancer only months apart last year. Both are my heroes and both refuse to give up. They model for me the kind of determination I pray I could were our roles reversed. And the song is amazing.. have never heard it before.

  • Badass song bitches

  • Someone very dear to me has been living with cancer. She is such a strong person, as is anybody that has cancer and deals with living day to day with it. I can't even begin to imagine. Stay strong cancer survivors. Very powerful (sad) video.

  • Like many have said before me, this definitely choked me up and brought some tears to my eyes.

  • this video brought a tear to my eye, very well done. I wish you and your family the best, and good luck. hope is never gone.
