Johnny Weaver sounded like he was drunk.
-
back in the day when wrestling wasn't "sports entertainment"

lol...him and slaughter...that was a bit ridiculous damn...they should just lay a bed of nails in the ring...

This was one heck of a match. A good lead in to the cage match in Greensboro. The referees took some hellacious bumps. I remember in August 1987 at the Scope in Norfolk, VA, Ron Garvin took on Ric Flair and afterwards, beat the living tar out of the two referees assigned to the match (Tommy Young and Earl Hebner). The entire Scope went nuts.

I very fondly remember that night,I was at front row ringside and loved it!(look for the fool in the red PWI shirt)
This is the first time I have seen this on video since early 1983,and it really brings back good memories of a much better time.
If I recall correctly, the next greensboro card had a match between 'Boat and 'Blood vs Flair and Valentine, and Sarge and Don wrestled the Funks, then of course came 3-12-83,the Final Conflict.
Thanks for sharing these,I really appreciate it.
Hooty hoo!Now this is 1000% reall WRESTLING,
100% reall Sports Entertainment. The people at
this match were into it,you don't see that in

Now this is wrestling, the way it used to be, just the way I like it.
