In the past me and my cousine would always get tired of killing each other and decided to create an new battle mode. We would shoot 10 green shells into the arena and then try to destroy them all before they did us in. The fact that a new green shell was added to the "enemy team" by trying and missing to shoot a shell with another green shell made it quite challenging.
On a totally different note, you can turn around relatively fast by jumping in place.

The mushrooms in this one will take a balloon away if you hit the person from the boast. That is all they do in this one, the take an item away thing is the ghost(which isn't in the later games)

@TehCheapOne I meant what you said, that they took a balloon away if you hit the other person, I'm aware that the boo takes the items. No need for correction, I just didn't specify whether or not it stole balloons or items.
