Wags - learning Spanish Walk

Wags came in January, looking for retraining, and rehoming. He is now learning spanish walk.

Many of my subscribers have asked how I transfer spanish walk to the saddle, and this video has a few clips of it. I start by gettin the horse accustomed to hearing the word "Step" and responding correctly. I then add the whip from the saddle, and say the word "step" while tapping the leg. Lastly, you add the rein command to the word and the whip, and slowly remove the whip. This is after about a week of training on the ground, and first day undersaddle.

BTW- I couldn't turn the first two clips, sorry!

I LOVE how well you praise him. A lot of people don't realize how much horses feed off of the positive praise.
