Mercedes-Benz S-Class Trunk Closer

This is the cool handle that was on the 2003-2006 Mercedes-Benz S-Class trunk. The trunk seals itself with the pneumatic assist and then the handle disapears under the lid. This is so the S-Class owner doesn't have to touch the dirty trunk in order to close it. (Thanks to my friend Ashley for operating the handle lol)

It was on S-Class in the US from 2003-2006 model years. However, if the optional electronic trunk closer was ordered, you did not get the nifty little handle.

I would agree with you if Toyota still made exciting cars but nowadays their cars are boring as hell. That and front wheel drive is for the lose.

My dad bought and S500 today and it has that and i think its really cool. But since its certified pre-owned they tighten the springs for the trunk so its hard to close.

my dad has that on his 2004 S350 but the boot is hard to close for a short lad like me! and I would of thought that a £60,000 car should come with electric boot closure as standard and it still isnt on the new model. Bit of a let down!
