  • This short video is excellent.

    It shows the four main four-fold symmetric forms in R Buckminster Fuller's Synergetics hierarchy in their proper relative volumes. The two Cubes both have a volume of 3 tetrahedral volumes(3+3=6). The blue Tetrahedron each have a volume of 1 and the Octahedron a volume of 4(1+4+1=6. The resultant Rhombic Dodecahedron which is the combination of 2 Cubes or Tet+Oct+Tet + 6
