Mike Jankowski, Head Coach of the U.S. Olympic Snowboarding, Freeskiing & Halfpipe teams introduces freeskiing to the 2014 Sochi Olympic Games with this video. In this episode, Coach Jankowski goes over the basics of the sport and breaks down the approach, take off, initiation and landing for the straight jump. The straight jump, a.k.a. the "Ollie" is a basic jump that serves as an important building block to mastering bigger tricks.
