The answer to the music questions here? Yes, yep, right about everything. This 1980 album was released on TSOP Records instead of the Philadelphia International imprint. I've always loved this track.

  • @TLDavisJazzChannel You're welcome!

  • This the purest kind of Philly Soul. I still like to hear it.

  • @Pintjang Me too. This kind of Philly Soul has a very specific energy and sound.

  • Thank you for posting this song, I remember sitting outside on the garden listening to it one christmas with my family before my dad passed on......

  • @1Penzo Thanks 1Penzo. I'm sorry about that. Oddly enough this reminds me of my grandmom, listening to music with her, stuff like that.

  • This is one of the many unknown jewels of the O,jays. The vocals of these are incredible, and the music of M.F.S.B. sounds mellow and smooth. There is a message in the Phillysound music. Thanks for posting. Peter

  • @205Buck You're welcome. Yep, this always made me think too.

  • Thanx Zebop for posting this one. It forces one to introspect and reflect now that Y2K is a decade in the past. This also brings to mind Donald Fagan's track; IGY.
