On today's show, Kevin Rose of Digg.com teaches us all about the sport of indoor rock climbing. While we don't plan on heading out to any cliff faces in the desert any time soon, this is a great way to stay in shape and have some fun!

  • Just because he's only V5 after years and years doesn't mean it's not his sport. I'm sure it wasn't years and years of climbing non-stop climbing. I'm willing to bet he doesn't climb a whole lot. Regardless, if he likes to climb, it's his sport. I really like the pop up that says 2.5 people die on average every year rock climbing. I hope if I ever become that statistic, I'm the half. I'd hate to be completely dead, but half I could live with.

  • To be fair, he's probably more preoccupied with all those successful web start-ups than with training.

  • @Powderful888 not sure what u are saying...i make joke

  • @thelawnguys93 All of them died. It's just a statistic. If they didn't die they wouldn't be part of this statistic in the first place. They'd be in the "I almost died but I didn't hahaha" group.

  • I tried bouldering outdoors, and it is so hard.

  • 2.5 people die each year, so is that 2 real people and half of a person....OR....is it 2 people die and the 3rd person only is half way to death.????

  • I thought this guy looked familiar when I started visiting digg. I've seen him at Mission Cliffs before, didn't make the connection until just now.

It's cool he's into climbing. That's all. Who cares what other people's skill levels are at or how hard V5's are at certain gyms or whatever-- All that matters is that you are improving in your own climbing. If you're confident in your own climbing I don't see why it would matter to you where others are at.We should all be encouraging each other.

  • greta vid, very help ful

  • V5's are no cake walk. Plus I think the way a gym rates it's climbs makes a big difference. I was able to do V4's at one gym, but then I struggle with 2's & 3's at another.

  • "i did v5 first time today" "3 weeks and im climbing v6 and v7" well then you know what ill look for you two in the next bigup movies because that was basically chris sharma's beginner level ...or ur just full of it.

  • i did a v5 today my first time to a gym so i thought that was funny he said that

  • WTF? 2 and a HALF?! What happened to the 3rd person's other half? Did it survive?
