Double feature. Two of my favorite spots on Stage 1.

As shown on the video, you need a LOT of backup to keep that little shack nest alive. That said, this nest coupled with attic control will always make it impossible for BLU to advance. No exceptions.

Enjoy :)

  • Is it still possible to do this setup the traditional Gorge/Gravelpit method with rocket jumping?

  • @omgcandy16Kimicari0 You mean sentry jumping? sure.. it's always been posible

  • @notvolg

But it's just more efficient to do it via jumping from the dispenser, right?

  • @omgcandy16Kimicari0 I've never compared the two, actually, but since BLU always takes a couple of minutes to push the cart I'd say it's really up to you ;) both techniques work.

  • @omgcandy16Kimicari0 You're gonna hear a lot of different opinions on that one. Personally, i think it's slightly better to do it via dispenser :)

  • A saxxy, give this man one.

  • @Killajax Meh, I still have a long way to go in terms of editing, but thanks for that :P maybe I'll be ready for it next year, who knows

  • O_O

  • this is why i love team fortress!

  • At the start of 4:53 it seemed like a meet the team video.

    Nice editing.

  • @logandarklighter Sentry jumping isn't a problem for me, but usually I can't take my tools with me as seen by notvolg, and when time is precious, I can easily waste time trying, and have done before, so while sentry jumping and taking your sentry with you can be quicker than rebuilding it, for now at least, I believe the latter is more helpful for your team.

Anyway, still haven't managed to get up there via dispenser, but I just need more time practicing at this one. :)

  • @DarkBandicoot Yes it's possible. Though as others have noted it's also possible to do it via Wrangler/Rocket Jump. Personally I think the dispenser method is better for the platform, while rocket jump is better for the attic.

  • @ode4951 vs competent teams(aka ubered demos and soldiers with DH)u kinda need some backup :P.

  • @K0ragg not really

  • Sentries usually need a team to back them up anyway

  • Amazing xDD

Both the gameplay and the music you use for these videos.

    Great job!

These videos are making me want to play TF2 again xD though I was a mediocre engie, and still couldn't find any good servers that didn't have premiums on them that ruined games >.<
