Hey guys,

Here a clip of me and my friend mucking around on my new R6 to zz top's sharped dressed man. Loads of mistakes but just messing about. Unfortunately, had to sell my les paul classic to get this, but a side by side acoustic comparison made up my mind for me - acoustically this R6 has a lovely, light, airy resonant tone, but crank it up and it can still scream!!

The amp here is a cornell romany plus, in 0.5 watt mode, cranked to the max! Its pretty much a 50's fender tweed

No effects

More vid's to come soon hopefully

cheers

johnny

  • I have a Romany plus as well. This is the sound that guys spend a lifetime trying to emulate making the mistake of thinking that you can replicate that sound using a ton of pedals or fx. All you need is an R6 and a Denis Cornel Romany plus..

  • Just bought an R6 .... I am in heaven!

  • dope

  • gooood 5*!

  • I approve of your playing ... and your posters ;-)

  • Awesome guitar! Congratz :D

  • It sounds great.

  • Dang man, you sold your other guitar. I liked the woody, hollow sound of it. And you put alot of effort into making that guitar sound alot better. Great playing anyway and still a lovely sound
