@vissi87 Has it ever occured to you that it may simply not be for you. There's plenty of music i would never want to listen to but that doesn't necessarily make it bad music.

Some people enjoy r&b, gaga or 2pac I don't get that, it will never be my kind of music but that doesn't mean I get to bash it and say it's bad music.

Don't like him, np, go listen to Midori, Kennedy or anybody else, whose music i value more than rieu's too btw. Just don't put Rieu down for doing what you don't like.

This guy is an absolute legend. Saw him live in Birmingham a few months ago and I would love to just follow him to all his concerts around the world. You can never get tired of the sounds of Andre Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra!

Maybe he is not the best violinist, but very good entertainer and opens people's emotions. Look, they sing along, dance, smile and cry. You can be better player technically, but if there is no contact between you and audience, you can play only to yourself. If you want something more serious, you go to different concert. I am sure, that people who go to his concerts know, they will leave very lifted and will just have very good time.
