With Gala winning the RBS Regional Cup there was nothing to play for except bragging rights at Philiphaugh when Melrose came to take on Selkirk. In two weeks Melrose will be starting their Premier A campaign in Scotland at the top of the table while Selkirk would be in Premier C also at the top.
