Yes if you can get the ps3 to connect to the device. I use it to watch movies in the car from netflix using a roku box

why do you use WEP if you could choose WPA2?

is you windows machine too old for it?

No is not too old. By default the router has wep configured. I used wep sometimes, it's just an old habit.
