  • Brundle is a good commentator.

  • If Senna had lived, he would of won in 1994 due to Benneton's ban, In 1995 he would of won as Williams produced a good car. In 1996 he would of totally dominated the season, in 1997 he would of won again, and then he would of retired. I say this because if Hill and Villeneuve did it, Senna definitely could!

  • Look guys, stop arguing. I enjoy watching it, but it does get boring. Senna and Prost are both legendary drivers. Points count to 50% of the title. Thought Senna was hard on his engines? Look at Michael Schumacher, Lewis Hamilton, a couple of others too. But, there are more great drivers too, like Jackie Stewart, Graham Hill, Jim Clark, Sir Stirling Moss & Juan Manuel Fangio, whose 5 championship record stood for many years. All I'm saying is, Senna and Prost aren't the best ever...

  • @mushrume - In 1988 Senna had ZERO mechanical failures. In 1989 Senna had 6 mechanical failures, in 1990 he had 2, and in 1991 he had 1. I thought he was hard on his machinery too, but there is no consistency which would suggest he was hard on his machinery. He was just unlucky in 1989...

  • @Anime998877 his car broke from abuse . and u want to see a good teamates look at cervert and cts staewart. class acts , senna did not have that personality in him a major flaw in my eyes

  • @Anime998877 iit is common knowledge that he left because of senna but no one but prost knows for sure . and if anyone says otherwise they are a fool ..... \ what we do know is that points are what wins championships!!! and i do believe that is very important.. wich is important to a gp driver i believe

i think prost left because he would rather have a legit team mate . not someone who is always up your ass and trying to outdo youvery moment .

  • @mushrume - No points don't mean anything. If a guy loses the world championship because his car breaks down every other race how the hell is that fair? In 1989 despite the points saying Prost defeated Senna, it's common knowledge Prost was whopped so badly he buggered off to ferrari.

  • @rich1701

Yes, and if Senna would be a little bit Younger he could also Dominate 98, 99 and 2000...

And if Senna would have change 85 to McLaren he would also Dominate 85, 86 and 87...

And if Mansell dont would have the Best Car 92, Senna would also Dominate 92...

    Wooooooh

Thats Fantstic, normally Senna would be 21 F1 World Champion, if he would come 6 Jears early into F1 and would be 4 Jears Younger...

    LoooooooL

points are everything in this type of racing !!!!

are you joking . consistency is king .

why do you think he mad mechanical failure . his horrific downshifts alone accounted for most.

lovely to the ear but horrible for the car. and he lost at least one title because of it .

but thats racing. being fast and keeping your shit going. he should have been nicer to his engines.

and prost would have won in 88 but only best 11 finishes count .

they did away with that .so ..

  • Points don't mean jackshit.

    Prost VS Senna 1988-1989

    Wins: Senna 14 - 11 Prost

    Poles: Senna 26 - 4 Prost

Senna also led 11 mclaren 1-2 finishes. Prost only 3.

In 1989 Senna retired from victory by mechanical failure 4 times, and every time Prost inherited the win. So in wins they should actually be 18-7 for Senna against the 2nd best driver in the world at that time.

    Senna's undoubtedly the best.
