For most of this episode I thought, ok they really don't feel that way about each other. I guess it's fine, if a little unusual that they are so close but not the least bit interested in a romantic relationship. But Daniel in this scene...he's definitely NOT relieved when he figures out Betty is not into him. I don't think he recognises his feelings yet, but I think he has them. I read the expression on his face to be: She doesn't like me. Good. Why don't I feel better about this?

These are just very subtle hints. Daniel is in deniel from what I can see. The feelings are there but he just hasn't realised it. There will become a point when Daniel WILL finally have to finally acknowledge that he is falling for his bestfriend/assistant and I for one can not wait to see that happen.

I really shouldn't have watched this clip. I've purposely haven't watched any clips since the ending of the show because I miss it so much. This show ended way too soon and I get so emotional even after almost a year because this show had so much potential to go on for a lot more years. Damn, ABC!

@mytorontoisctvnews I made sure I tuned in to the last few episodes that were Betty/Daniel in a BIG way. My favorite scenes were Hilda's wedding toast were she talks about marrying her best friend and when Daniel's mom talks to him about nearly burning down his office when Betty hands in her resignation.
