Fairtax is a farce. I offer 50,000 dollars if anyone can show me real Fairtax research, which proves it's even a retail sales tax on normal personal consumption. Fairtax taxes city government, and military pensions for example.

Ron Paul is kind of a kook - but at least he is logical. He says reduce spending low enough that you dont NEED an income tax.
People wont allow you to reduce spending that much- but at least the theory is sane otherwise.
Fairtax on the other hand sounds great, but is deeply flawed, to the point of being absurd. I wish it could work! But it based on absurdity. ANd now Boortz admits, you DONT get to keep your whole pay like you thought with fair tax.

The FAIR TAX eliminates the IRS and prevents the tax on your income. The Income tax is then replaced with a 23% sales tax. Why not vote for Ron Paul, Ron PAUL WANTS TO REPLACE THE IRS WITH NOTHING. GO AHEAD DO YOUR RESEARCH.
