@JohnFirst70s I believe Jon Lord just had a direct output to his stack, totally bypassing the usual means of amplification. There's a video somewhere here on youtube where Lord himself describes precisely how he did it.

Nice!I really love it! PLay my hammond my self, but i don't have a real B3 lucky man! I have nord electro, så i use the hammond simulator on the board, but I want to buy a leslie, you are playing on a 122 or 147?

That was really Great! Can you overdrive this organ? I mean can you get Jon Lord`s (Deep Purple) sound. I know he used an ovedriven Marshall stack. But can you overdrive it using a leslie speaker and nothing else? Or i will need some special overdrive pedals for Hammond? Can you advise something? CHEERS! 5 STARS!

When using old Leslies with tubes, you can get that sound you ask for. It is the tubes who make that real overdrive. Thanks
