Perth chiropractor Dr Roddy Knight explains a possible differential diagnosis of Fabry Disease, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia and Familial Mediterranean fever. These conditions affect thousands of people and for many it is a life of social and physical exertion beyond normal. There is no real proven definitive diagnosis or substantial test for most of these conditions but there is for Fabry disease. Fabry disease is not well known but its signs and symptoms cross over with the other three conditions. Chiropractors are beginning to learn about Fabry disease and how it presents. Chiropractic cannot diagnose, treat or manage Fabry disease. The purpose of this footage is to simply create awareness o9f a relatively unknown condition that a chiropractic patient may well have when they present with back or neck pain. For example, someone with chronic fatigue or fibromyalgia may need to want to see a chiropractors to have their back or neck looked at.
