@mielefan18 Its 'unbalance' detection is based motor current passing a threshold. It's a cheap, crappy system that doesn't work.

I have a ge i have never had a problem, mine has a setup for what kind of floor and if your using a pedestal. If you have leveled the machine I would do that again, you may have a weak floor. Try putting a sheet of wood under both the washer and dryer.

Ok next time you re going to buy a new washer get a miele or Bosch washer. I have to mention that your washer when is balanced spins great! If you are still using it, try not to load it with small loads ... bigger loads are much easier to be balanced. I think that except the balance problem this machine does dirty laundry into clean much better and efficient than topload washers.

Read the directions there are shipping brackets in the back that need to be removed

Balancing this machine will not fix the problem you are having. GE chose to use a very cheap vibration detection system which does not work.

@adisharr The biggest problem is that the machine fails to detect that it is walking. This borders on dangerous and maybe criminal. I don't have kids, but, if I did, and they were injured, ......
