Reverb to simulate room reverb sucks. Reverb used as an effect to create strange sounds is awesome.

What are you using at the being of this video. With the tremolo how are you getting that sound what amp did you use and tremolo and of curse the guitar

Gearmanndude sounds great no matter what he uses. Reverb is a preference thing, I've met a lot of guitar players who don't use it.
I personally like it for clean lead lines and arpeggios in between 2-3 on my Fender Deluxe amp, and 1-2 with chords, rhythm and overdriven solo and melody lines (sometimes I back off the reverb down to Zero when playing rhythm).

I agree with gearmandude... reverb sucks, and I think here's why: When you play with a good amount of distortion, and I'm guessing alot of us do, it just washes out if you are playing in a club or a good sized room. The room itself is creating all the reverb that you need. On the other hand, if you play clean or slightly broken up ... maybe surf or rockabilly type music, then I think it works out nicely. FWI, I do like it on recordings, and think plate reverbs sound sweet (Led Zep I).
