EDIT: Source recorder hates world portals and wants me to be unhappy forever.

  • Cool, I sort of get how you did this. A multitouch trigger brush and env_shake and ambient_generic for the gate, two areas linked with the world-portal, two cubes that have their parent set as the other cube (I think). It’s really quite neat what you did here.

  • @s4videos I don't think you can parent something to it's child, or at least that's not how I did it.

@danm36 Supposedly, custom maps will be coming to the PS3. I dunno the details though, more of a PC guy..

Anywho, Ima see if I can manage to reupload this in 720p, as there are a lot of small things wrong with the video quality here..

  • Anyone know how he made the portals appear in the same place in both rooms? The cubes can just be parented, but I have no clue with the portals.

  • This next test may contain trace amounts of time travel.

  • wait a sec...

isn't moving the cube against the laws of physics...?

  • Holy Science!

  • YOUR BREAKING THE SPACE-TIME CONTINUUM!

  • @MunchyToast001 oh, ok

  • Glass...

  • @potatoes131 The cube 1 is a mimic of cube 2s movement , that meanas your are not able to poral em. Since they are sharing both the one space.

  • @ClayPeopleBroadcast Valve said they may add support for it later. PS3 support will be easy, as that also uses steam. XBox support, well... people suggested that Valve will do it in a similar way to the Super Meat Boy devs

  • I don't actually see the point of the destroyed version, as far as I can see, you can complete the puzzle without even activating the destroyed version.
