gas prices have gone up due to the same speculation by the commodities traders ..oil is bought and sold over and over and over..there is no shortage.. Saudi Arabia said they will take up any slack that is caused by Libya's problems..the supply & demand has nothing to do with it.. supplies don't just happen overnight...the drop in the value of the dollar isn't a major driving force in the cost of gas for this latest price increase

If the rich wanted to they could buy the entire world's supply of food, destroy it, and starve the poor. This is one of reasons I feel that the enormous economic disparity between the rich and the poor is so dangerous.
