- I'm assuming you are being sarcastic? In which case lmao.

@kickingmonkey It really depends on the person that's using martial arts and how devoted they are to it.
You could use Bruce Lee as an example, he knew martial arts and that wasn't bullshit what he was doing. Like I stated, it really just depends on the person. Most kids that take martial arts now just think it will make them strong like the people in those kung fu movies are which isn't a good way of thinking.
These are take-down styles that do work but arent good against mobs of people.

@unionofonion Man, I really don't remember what I commented on this video. Remind me please, since it was a while ago I presume, and now I notice I got a response. Anyhow, this shit looks so out of order.

How about having some martial arts training aswell?
You can be ripped and you can watch all the MMA you want, but if you dont know how to fight and your opponent knows then he will simply kick your ass, and next time you will watch UFC with a black eye and a broken nose.

@wongtsahoa hmmm well its easy to talk shit about the mistakes the people made in this video, but could u actually do ebtter yourself? and the whole point is to review it and see where you went wrong, so clearly they brought that up later and probably this guy is learning some new knife-defense technique... the senshido guys also said in another video that MMA/self-defense technique training is VITAL. they do MMA drills, etc, but dont show it in vids because its not new to the audience

@ArcticSheep I can see that the emphasis is on practical, but that doesn't do you any good if you don't have a solid foundation of technique to implement in a fight. Sure, it helps to have experience in street fighting, but experience alone doesn't do you any good. Notice how every time the unarmed defender is up against a knife he gets stabbed and then tries to wrestle the attacker to the ground? BAD idea. Good luck wrestling someone down after you have blood spraying out of your belly.

@wongtsahoa i think the point is people are actually practising what would realistically happen... key word is practice.

@ThePoweroftheGuitar can I have your stereo?

??? just looks like brawling to me. There doesn't seem to be any technique here. I don't care what anyone says, It helps to know what your doing in a fight. Randomly flailing or trying to overpower your opponent will get you injured.
having been in a BAD situations before. this is how we all should train use what works not bullshit it is only 4 the garden and thats were it should stay

im terribly sorry to rain on your parade, but this is exactly what the street fight looks like. because those thugs and yobs do not know some martial arts, so they dont fight martial arts. its not a new martial art. It s a combination of many. And mainly - its practical. You can see on 0:08 - this is exactly how would someone attack you.
