Of course, it's fake ice :P. It's like in Saw 5, when they're in the room, where they have to smash glasses, in order to get the keys. It's fake glass, but it seems very realistic in final movie :D.

So these days, they are able to fake almost everything ;).

Ohh maaan... I always start to cry, when I see this emotional scene :'(:'( It is an unforgottenable experience.
