Street Fighter EX2+: Nanase (De) vs. Ryu (CPU)

Well, today I woke up and decided to chill out with the MUGEN videos for a while and head back to the emulators collecting electronic dust on my comp. Today, after seeing the first gameplay vids of Street Fighter IV the day before, I actually felt like playing something that it reminded me of. Yeah, I know, EX2 is WAY outdated and the entire EX series was never really liked, but I liked it. It was it's own game, just like SFIV will be it's own game, and today I wanted to give some love to the old school. Besides, the AI in the early EX games is actually pretty freaking tight.

So this video, is of course, the first of a batch today, this one opening up with a match vid between Nanase (me) vs. Ryu (AI) on hard. I'm also using the PSXE emulator, and at least for this game it works pretty freaking well (can't say that about my Tekken 3 rom...) Anyways, enjoy the random trek to the PS1 days.

BTW, my ROM of EX2+ doesn't play the BGM with it, so I used the mp3 of the original stage music.

I think the EX Series was awesome. Especially how the Omake stuff explained the relationship between Kairi and Gouki(Akuma).

But I hated Street Fighter EX3. It felt like Tekken Tag Tourney. I wanted them to go back to Street Fighter EX2 Gameplay. "No better way to start the day then hitting Bison II with a 35 hit Excel Combo."

oh man i loved the Ex series and your right the AI was tough in the early ones. and we need a Nanase for mugen cuz i miss playing with her
