Anther, you are my mentor whether you know it or not.

I can play just the way you play online, when I am playing offline. Online, however, I can't play nearly as well. I am trying to learn to play just as well online at the moment.

When I do, you can bet I'm gonna find some way to challenge you.

Who would have thought Juntahh (below) being a big tournament goer and one of the best G&Ws could be such a prick? An illogical prick at that. Anther has many online friendly vids. So, Anther must be bad too, huh? Geeze Juntahh.

Anywho, I've been talking to Anther and many other of the best Pikas on Smashboards in a clan chat and playing on par with them. I've yet to brawl Anther because his wifi is not functional but I will soon. Plus, I'm attending a tourney next month so wish me luck.

Oh, and to curiousenver, thanks for the support and I'll answer your questions to the best of my ability.

I admit I have not been to an offline tourney in quite some time. Not since like a month after Brawl came out. I wasn't anywhere near anywhere close to close to how good I am with Pikachu now, yet I made it to Round 3 of 5.

And I am on the east coast, I'll tell you that much <.<

Got my Wii Lan Adapter, and it works like a charm :)

I now use Up B into Thunder/thunderjolt without fail just as you see Anther doing. It's so much fun to use the mindgame technique to catch opponents off-guard.

Well, anyway, I want no animosity between myself and anyone else. My goal is more realistic than you'd think.

I don't think you're joking...kudos to you for the good mindset and the goal. just don't delude yourself. In that month, if you even somehow get to the level that Anther is at right now, he will have improved so much more by then.

these aren't asshole-ish questions: do you go to any tournaments? what region do you live at? what good players do you get to play against?

Granted, in this video he is playing offline. But I suppose you haven't watched many Anther videos. If you did, you'd realize that Anther doesn't seem to play any worse online. He plays EXACTLY THE SAME WAY, and he does play extremely powerfully.

So my point rests when I say that once I can play online the way I play offline, I'll be able to give Anther a run for his money.

Expect Anther's title to be challenged within 1 month. And don't think I'm joking.

Simply put, my offline Pika skill = Anther's online Pika skill. I ain't joking.

Unfortunately, I always seem to create a bit of lag in my games (although not an overwhelming amount) which messes up my Up B mindgames.

I'm soon getting a Wii Lan Adapter to solve that issue. THEN I can play as well as Anther does, even when I play online.
