"Southern Hospitality" is bullshit. It all depends on where you live. I've moved from a northern state to a small town in SC and its all the same. Truth is that you have 2 type of people in this world, Polite people and selfish assholes. Northern and Southern has nothing to do with it.

I went to go see Lady Antebellum on Saturday and he was one of the people who opened for them and he sang this song and he was great! Hes a great singer so i don't know why people are hating on him just because of his color! If you don't like how he is then don't listen to his music!!!! Its that simple people!!

@sparkycat101 depends. in SC we aren't. We have just as many colored people as white, but certain people are kinda discriminating. Most of us just don't care.

I'm homeschooled, my parents go to work and leave me and my sister with one sitter, who is black, and then dad comes home for lunch and the other,who's also colored, comes when he leaves.

I'm not discriminating, but some of my family is-about 2-.....

So I'm not asking this in a rude way it's just curiosity, but with all due respect doesn't the south still tend to be more prone to discrimination than the north? Otherwise I love the song! I may not be a southerner or have close to the respect that they do just because I live in minnesota. But I do know disrespect when I see it and that is surely not me! I respect my elders and know how to treat people right! So maybe that says that once and a while you may be able to find avoid hearted person who lives up north.
