Why are we making noise?Simply because this is not an accident. It is a failure in maintenance. It means, ppl are sleeping on the job,not changing parts when they are due time, not buying actual parts but cheapo parts, not employing and properly trained personnel, Saving cost? Worst- max profits!. We are lucky that it is just a breakdown.If the train had derailed,a fire breaking out? Does anybody have any idea how many people would have died! Ignorant fools, Somebody should hang for this.

neon sign boards in station announced "income opportunities" for taxis during these blackouts in the stations..money making more important then the trapped 120,000 peoples's lives during this blackout - 2nd train disruption in 2 days? isn't singapore a main target for terrorists ? will management resign or will they be sacked ? remember mas selamat, the singapore terrorist? several million dollars were spent trying to catch him? he alone could not have killed 120,000 people in one go. amazing !

This wasn`t a "camera". Was just a little mobile phone and it was DARK!
I don´t know what exact happened. I guess some cable strings inside the tunnel were loose and the train teared them off. Then the train stopped immediately.
