Presenting 'I Cannot Stop You' in both the issued and unissued versions for your listening pleasure. Both outings presumably produced and arranged by Dick Wagner. Hail hail Michigan rock 'n roll!
Different arrangements, different recordings, different instrumentation, so whether one is better than the other is all in the ear of the beholder. I think both are good. One is THE original version from A2 (Squared) Records, and the other, the Cherry Slush's cover version.
You know, I played bass for the Cherry Slush and I never knew the Bossmen(Dick's Group) recorded it. This is the first time I heard it.. Now I understand why Dick knew excatly what he wanted us to do. Dick was in the Frost when he taught us I Cannot Stop You.
Pretty Cool.. It only took 40 years for me to hear it. Guess I should buy the Album.. Thanks...
