Tent City 4

Tent City 4 is a mobile encampment of homeless people on the east side of the Seattle area. The congregations that host TC4 for 90 days at a time consider doing so part of their religious freedom. Some neighbors object, and the result is an ongoing controversy.

With the economy steadily getting worse, there will be many more people living like that. The arrogant will be humbled. Those that have large loans are just a layoff away from being in the same boat.

you know what this Is The Sandra the first female voice you people heard in the Tent City 4 Documentary ...I Thank Tent City 4 for being around cuz before that I was on the streets where it is dangerous to be. If it was'nt for the Tent City Encampments Alot of us would not have been able to start building our lives up again and move on into our own places with steady Jobs. Don't Judge Cuz you know what every homeless Person has a story and pain they go through

got the feeling, if the economy doesnt get any better, United States of Ameica wont be United States no more.. Someone predicted that USA will be cut down to sections instead of a whole, we will never know what will happen to america..and soon America wont afford military and it will be Dark times in Usa..... I really hope to god that it wont happen........

The majority of the people I have met from TC4 are wonderful people. They are NOT lazy. How many people do you know that would walk 4 miles to the park and ride because the busses don't run by the current TC4 location often enough (only once on Saturdays and never on Sundays)?

We housed tent city at our church and have members from TC4 and have never had a problem. The only problems came from harassing neighbors. I am proud that some residents of moved on to get permanent housing and good jobs.

As for the thefts it is a proven fact that these events usually stem from housed people who are usually well off finical and usually are people who are like opportunist who can afford to pay for what they have stolen and are not accustom to going without.
