Businessman and former rugby star, Marc Ellis, was behind the prank that made many in Auckland think that Rangitoto, a dormant volcano in the Hauraki Gulf, near Auckland, New Zealand, was erupting. The stunt was intended to promote www.mintshot.co.nz.

Yeah.....provided it all went well. If he'd set fire to half of Rangitoto, he'd be facing a lot of grief instead. :-)
