Do not do this at all I did this with MP Player CE and now the laser does not work. You will have to repair it yourself and if you don't nintendo will and that's 80 dollars plus tax and shipping it won't read your disk anymore and crashes with a black screen saying read operations manuel DONT DO IT!!!!

@Neumus The problem is that the DVDx installer is outdated. Try to use bannerbomb or something or search google for this error.

i noticed that most of the people demonstrating or showing how to play the mplayer fo the wii. they use Harry Potter dvds
