theon is so well played by alfie allen. i liked his character in the books, but i love him in the show. this poor bastard is so lost. after he hacks through rodrick's neck you can see how forlorn he is. like he just woke up in the middle of a nightmare.

Undying, undead, tomato, tomahto. I love the changes because it keeps the book-readers (you know the ones who have to spoil everything in the comments) on their toes as well as the regular viewers. The house of unliving can still be dramatic. It's ironic that you talk about viewers being happy with the bullshit being served to them, what about the readers who are happy with the last 2 ASOIAF books, which were shit. Moral of the story: DON'T BITCH UNTIL YOU KNOW HOW THE CHANGES PLAY OUT!

Damn it, people. Just be happy that a show like this was made at all. I mean, how many of your fave books do you get to see adapted to the screen? Not many enough, unfortunately. Even if they friggin' changed it so that friggin' Theon took a sex-change and become the QUEEN OF THE FRIGGIN' WORLD, I'd still be happy! Ha!!!

The stealing of the dragons is not a stupid plot because it shows Dany is only where she is because of her dragons and without it she is nothing. Now she will have more impetitus to go there and do what she ultimately does in H.O.U. I can see where you are coming from with Arya but she'll end up doing something at the final episode or in season 3 to raise her from mouse to wolf.

Her visit to the House of the Undying was such a dramatic scene in ther books that I had to read twice to make sure that I did not miss a thing. I hope that the stupid stealing of the dragons plot leads to a good scene just like the one in the books if that is the reason of the change. Arya's kill & her escape & liberation of the Northern prisoners capturing Harrendal was one of her first heroic actions raising her from mouse to wolf ( as she describes herself in the books) they cut that too.

If they had not needlessly killed her character off so soon in the ackward stealing of the dragons (which was never in the books), she could done it the sea voyages Dani takes to the Slaving cities later on.

I do not mind they putting some life into the often slow moving books, but taking away Arya killing the guard as they escape Harrendal or not seeing her liberating the Northerrn Prisoners so that Bolton can take over the castle for Robb was a big too shortchanging for her character last night.

@gladegaurd or the Reed's, plus countless other additions or changes. If they did this much for a Clash of Kings, I'm worried for a Storm of Swords and a Feast of Crows.
