See how to create a Defined Name formula for a dynamic range (columns can vary) using the INDEX and MATCH functions. This formula works when there are no column headers (field names).

  • What I want to do is, chart 1st, 2nd, or 3rd... consecutive 3 or 4 or 5..columns. How do you recommend I proceed?

  • I don't think so. INDEX is delivering a cell reference in this case.
