How much horsepower did the 268 cams add. How big of a difference did they make

So would it be better to relocate the newer AIT sensor rather than adapt it to its original place, and just unplug the old one? Im sure the air would be hotter inside the vr6 intake manifold. What you think?

@arrepuess it's been tested av proved to be a +2WHP benefit on a stock vr6

@ZRace67 1.8t ait sensor on a vr6? never heard of it... any more info on that?

Did you feel any difference in throttle response after installing the powergasket?

@shaner2145 I didn't really notice any difference with that, no. The C2 software definitely made a difference. The power gasket only reduces heat soak from the cylinder head to the lower intake manifold.

got basically the same set up as you on my mkIII cabrio... one thing i just recently did that gave me a small hp gain and def. better throttle response was run a 1.8t ait sensor to the intake tube right past the cone with a heat shield.. was cheap and simple to do and really made a difference. even the exhaust sounds better! i have tt cams but same size.. its worth the $20-$30 and the 15 mins. it takes.

@KRUSHINGSPIRITS That was probably going to be the next mod I was going to do. The car is totaled, I still have it hoping to swap into my new Jetta.
