@Kranical Herzog Zwei is essentially the foundation of the game, but having spoken with the developers over the course of several hours several days in a row... I can assure you that the final product will have extensive differences to the point that it could be described as a "Spiritual Successor" to HZ in much the same way that Bioshock was to the System Shock games.
