love her!!! i think she really brings her own interpretation. but personally, i prefer petipa's version (not this one by Gorsky) of this variation with the fan. but both are charismatic in their own way.

I know it's terribly gauche to have your shoes clacking on the floor (I think my ballet teacher said something along the lines of "if you want to clack your shoes, go to Dolly Dinkle's School of Ballet and Clogging, not here"). I personally always kind of liked it though. I'm not sure why, but there's something satisfying in it, like you can hear how tough ballet is.

I gotta tell ya....they are hard for me to do really fast like that. Are they ACTUALLY easy for you or do you think they just look easy? Props to you if it is the former but wag of the finger if it's the latter.
