Excellent shave and haircut!

@WhistlepostWP do you have the video of the whole chase?
-
@Hendo56 thats right, how do they expect to keep a club running and attract new members if they push the "kids" away?
-
@operationlifesvr2010 We older model railroaders need to encourage kids like you, not exclude them.

Excellent club video! I am planning to visit family in Titusville in late November & early December 2011. Do you have any ops sessions going on at that time? I know my brother Ken (HO) and myself (N) would love to see it in operation!

Great layout!! What I like to do is take my dv camera and flip it upside down so that the lens is closer to the table, then edit it and flip it upside down. It loks very realistic

I used to hate N scale because it was so small. I was a huge HO scale fan. When I moved to my new house I didn't have the room for an HO scale layout so I ended up selling all of my HO scale trains. Now I have begun a new era in model railroading. I converted to N scale now Im a huge fan of N scale. Its amazing how much you can build on a 4x8 foot table. Im even going to enter my N scale layout in a model train show next year.

that's freakin' awsome. i wish there could be a club up here in albany NY where i could get involved in. but the members say we don't want a 14 year old kid who only likes video games. and these are the guys who find out that i wan't to learn some more about scenery they say we just drink coffee all day!!! hippocrates!!!!!!

@operationlifesvr2010 that's too bad they didn't even give you a chance. At our club our youngest member is in the 8th grade and he does excellent scenery work! At our ops sessions he even does some dispatching too!

i loved that last horn in the video where'd you find an engineer like him

@lolz976 The audio was taken from an actual Amtrak F40 back in the early 1990s. We ended up chasing the train from downtown Memphis TN to the suburbs and the engineer rewarded us with a horn salute for catching him the 2nd time.
