Today's video is about the high fruit diet. It's not a healthy long term diet. I am posting this video because I'm getting so many comments from people saying they are eating mostly fruit and love it. Do what feels but but this video is a warning to be careful and not overdue it long term.

  • search for Doug Grahams Fitness Stunts, and youll see what a high fruit diet does to you longterm.

I doubt Paul Nison can do 20 pushups.

  • @KingOfKingz911 Just so you know, I do about 100 pushups and pull ups every day.

  • I don't think any diet is bad that is open to understanding each person is in a different climate, place, age etc. I don't agree with a diet that says each person should get a certain amount of something and that's what's best for everyone. Like I said all along, if it works for you great, but that doesn't mean it's best for everyone else. That's all I'm trying to say here.

  • I would appreciate it if you could clarify what you mean by 'long term'.

I have been on a fruitarian diet for nearly 18 years and it is working for me.

The 'Supersize Me' guy had major health issues after just 30 days on his diet.

So what is the time frame that can we say that a diet is working well for us? Is 18 years long enough?

I appreciate that different raw diets work for different folk. And I feel that tree-ripe great quality fruit is vital if one is on a high fruit diet.

  • Paul I respect you, but I dont feel your giving the 80 10 10 Diet a chance man.. Dr Bass thinks the fruitarian diet is not optimal and I agree its not.. the 80 10 10 way of eating is a high percentage of organic fruits with enough vegetables and nuts and seeds.. This is how thousands of people thrive who are following this approach.. You should try to interview Doug Graham and have him on your show.. Hes a living example of a 100% raw vegan of nearly 30 years.. Thanks -Mike-

  • I agree with Dr.Bass on fruit. It is good to limit it and not eat alot at one time.

The reason is the blood acidity is affected by anything that is high in sugar, including veggie juices. I avoid concentrated foods. I have a large variety, cold water Wild fish. now raw goat milk. I found some. Mostly green raw organic foods. NO juicing..all whole but I will drink juice diluted.

  • I meant to say, NOT FANATICS. I can't edit this. Sorry...You are not fanatics. You are balanced. Some people want to be vegans. Let them if they want to.

    We can't control the world.

  • Thanks for your comments but on this subject you have no idea what you are talking about. nice try, btw 811 is not suggested!!! No a good diet at all.

  • we should take advantage of all the raw experts out there and then cherry pick what is best for us, we are lucky today that we have so many teachers in the raw field with so many approches so nothing is left out or left behind, the only way forward is to tinker and compare everything till we get it right!

  • I will reply to all comments as soon as I can get to them. but I will.
