  • well at bruntinthorpe they rebuilt the vulcan to perfect working condition i think they should of done it this also no matter how much it costs cus that wud be awesome

  • been in that :) was it the atc

  • There are still several around.

    Cosford, Duxford, Hendon and Elvington.

  • Watching this makes me appreciate even better how state of the art the original V force was in it's day. I would like to see her flying, along with a Vulcan and a Valiant in formation. Didn't she just want to be allowed to fly when she rolled down that runway! The rain makes a better video, but it must have been lousy waiting in it.

  • Oh right. So I take it that it's based there, is there a museum there or is it just an airfield with a few other companies?

  • This video was taken earlier this year at Bruntingthorpe, I was there too. It doesn't take off, it's just a fast taxi.

  • That's a shame, I love these aircrafts. Makes me now wonder when this video was taken. Would love to see one in a museum.

  • There isn't one.

  • I wonder where such aircraft is based that still flies?
