I'm never 100% sure, but some of the popping effects in this sound very much as though they're taken from Disney's "the Black Hole" - I know FSOL referenced this movie in other tracks on ISDN (along with a wealth of other top SF movies) but does anyone else agree about it on this track? Certainly for me this album had the most 'Japanese' feel to it of all FSOL's work - very forward-looking, tech-embracing and with a cyberfunk feel throughout. (Also great to make out too! lol)

i agree, always thought this is one of there best. i listened this a lot when its dark and i travel from work to my home by train. if i was passing Brussels on my way i always put this on. fits the dark city with all its lightes and buildings. the train would pass this street with only prostitutes, very haunting with this as soundtrack. acting out to make that street warm and loving but they just act and were masks. and I think this track is that bittersweet. love it
