Buried in a landfill devoid of light, oxygen etc these containers will not bio-degrade, similar to newspapers and hotdogs from the 1970s that are found at the bottom of landfills. If you want to make a change in this way try dining-in at restaurants that wash thier dishes or brining your own reusable containers.

Brilliant, but I heard that some of these containers are made from corn, but GMO corn...!! sooo it would be good to NOT use GMO corn
