@UsmanAli771 Lol. The word Shia means "follower", so the Shia's of Kufa were evidently not the Shia of Imam Ali (a.s) otherwise they would not betray his son Hussain (a.s). Also, thousands of real Shia were imprisoned in Kufa so that they could not help Imam Hussain (a.s), such as Mukhtar al-Thaqafi. Once al Mukhtar broke out of jail, he rallied a revolution, liberated Kufa and slaughtered all those responsible for the death of Imam Hussain (a.s). So my brother, your argument fails. Wal Salam :)
