Jade Goody's Wedding UPDATE to be soon on Living TV 12 March 2009

Jade Goody's wedding will be screened over two nights on Living TV next month, the satellite and cable channel revealed today.

Living, which is reported to have paid around £100,000 for the rights, will screen the buildup to Goody's wedding to Jack Tweed on Wednesday, 11 March and the actual wedding on 12 March. The two shows will also be repeated on both 14 and 15 March.

Goody, who is suffering from terminal cancer, married Tweed in Essex on Sunday.

She is thought to have earned around £1m in total for media deals for the event and the christening of her sons Bobby and Freddie, with OK! magazine paying an estimated £700,000 for exclusive picture rights. OK! published the first set of photos yesterday, with more to come next week.

Goody, who found fame on Channel 4's reality show Big Brother in 2002, has vowed to use the money raised to provide for her sons.

Living will hope the two shows, which will air at 9pm, attract its highest ever ratings. A documentary about Goody, which featured the former Big Brother star's battle with cervical cancer, pulled in the channel's current highest figure with a total of nearly 1 million viewers last Thursday, 19 February.

It is understood that Goody is preparing to cut back her media activities, with one more big TV interview with Piers Morgan on ITV1 understood to be in the pipeline.
